88 year-old awesome man invents knitting machine and makes thousands of socks for shelters
I double dog dare you to invent a machine in your living room that directly and positively impacts thousands of people daily. 88 year-old Bob Rutherford did it. He invented not one, but two knitting machines on a dare, and darn it if they aren't working! Now he and his homies gather at Bob's house once a week to turn machine-knitted cotton thread into socks for shelters around Saskatoon and all of Canada. I love it! There's another lesson here, folks. A good deed can be FUN! Get friends together and chat, keep your hands busy, and feel good making other people feel good.
